2. Why isn't the Vex Live App appearing on my Apple watch?

  • Manual Installation on Watch: Open the Watch app on your iPhone, navigate to the “My Watch” tab, and check if the app is listed. If it isn’t, tap “Install” to add it manually.

  • Ensure the Apple ID is the same on both devices and that the region in Settings > General > Language & Region on iPhone and the Watch’s region settings align.

  • Check Storage: Verify that both your iPhone and Apple Watch have sufficient available storage to install and run the app.

  • Restart Devices: Sometimes restarting your iPhone—and if needed, your Apple Watch—can help refresh the connection and prompt the app to appear.

  • Update Software: Ensure both your iPhone and Apple Watch are running the latest software versions, as updates often resolve compatibility issues.

  • Compatibility: Double-check that the app is compatible with your specific Apple Watch model. Vex Live supports Series 3 and above.

3. Why am I getting a permission error on watch heart rate showing 0?

If your Vex Live watch is showing a permissions error or 0 as heart rate, follow these steps:

  • Open the Health App: Launch the Health app on your iPhone.
  • Select Vex Live: Navigate to the Sources or Apps section and tap on Vex Live.
  • Enable Permissions: Ensure that all required permissions are enabled for Vex Live to access your health data.
  • Restart the Vex Live App: Kill the app on your watch and phone and try again.
